Yes that is correct. We offer an industry leading, same day dispatch for all New Zealand orders placed before 5pm NZST on a standard business day. Any orders placed after 5pm on a Friday and over the weekend will be shipped on the following Monday (excluding public holidays.)

We currently offer free shipping on all orders to standard New Zealand addresses, this is regardless of size and represents a great way to buy online and save.

Lost Golf Balls is based in Brisbane, QLD Australia, and we ship all items from our Australian warehouse.

Any additional taxes or duties applied by NZ customs are the responsibility of the recipient, and your parcel may be subject to these charges depending on the value. Currently (prior to December 2019) the vast majority of orders do not incur customs charges.

If your parcel's tracking status is "Import Duty and Tax Payable" or "Income Duty and Tax Assessment", your parcel may experience a delay of approximately 3 - 5 business days.

Customs may contact you with advice on how to pay any applicable fees to your parcel.

What if my order hasn't arrived in the estimated time?

If all the items you ordered are in stock at the time of purchase, and you have placed your order before 5pm, you can expect your order to be dispatched the same day.

If your order was placed after 5pm, and all items are available, your order will be dispatched next business day.

Please note that our shipping guidelines are based on the estimated time of arrival from the dispatch date, not the date your order is placed.

Please be advised that our delivery time guidelines are based on business days, which only includes Monday - Friday and excludes both Australian and New Zealand public holidays.

If you believe your order is outside the specified time range of delivery, and you are having your parcel delivered to a business address, please check the mail room or reception for your parcel.

If your parcel is being delivered to a home address and you have left delivery instructions, please check around your property (such as the meter box, carport etc) for somewhere safe the delivery driver may have left your parcel.

Please check your confirmation email to confirm your delivery address was correct.


Who will deliver my parcel?

Your delivery will be a collaborative process through our shipping agent and NZ Post.


How to track your parcel with NZ Post:

1. You will need to wait until your shipment is within the NZ Post network.

2. You'll find your tracking number under "Consignment Number" on your dispatch confirmation email.

3. Enter this tracking number at https://www.nzpost.co.nz/

For parcel enquiries you can contact NZ Post directly on 0800 501 501.

Authority To Leave (ATL)

You might leave a comment during the order process for the item to be left at your delivery address in your absence. This is called "Authority to Leave".

If you would prefer for the delivery person to leave the parcel for you in your absence, please leave a comment and we will place this on the shipping docket.

It is important to consider that if you give us authority to leave the consignment in your absence then we can no longer guarantee that you will receive your consignment, nor the other factors that can affect your parcel whilst it is sitting unattended - like rain, heat, dirt, damage, etc. In this situation, we can only guarantee delivery and quality up to the point that the track and trace tells us the goods were left for you.

Is it important to understand that leaving an "Authority to Leave" or similar comment is at the receivers risk. Lost Golf Balls takes no responsiility for items that are declared lost after the track and trace tells us the goods were left for you.

** Please Note – In the vast majority of cases items are delivered within the specified (or shorter) timeframe. However, there are instances where the courier is held up, location is difficult to get to, or other such things, and, as such in delivery may be delayed on these occasions. We will work with you to ensure the matter is dealt with quickly.
